- You can't have a business and expect it to run by itself. You need constant attention at least once a day on it - even if it just to read your latest emails... and a few business reports.
- All work and no play, make John a dull boy and Jill a dull girl... You need some exercise, even if it just to stretch your mind to find a new idea for another product...
- There are more than one way to invest money in a business - it could be your own or somebody else's through investing or sales or rewards and prizes...
- Building a business, even with a regular investment of time and money, takes a lot of time to build. Most people with a good business foundation only break even after FOUR years, not four days!
- Being your own boss will mean that you have to take charge of yourself and your time. You need to be completely disciplined - even if you have to rely on alarms to create a habit of working on your business EVERY DAY. A day closed is a sign of no business. Get up, dress up and show up!
